Lexi Carter

In the upcoming short film BYE MOMMY, Lexi plays Jean Evans, a troubled writer who discovers that she is pregnant with her first child. Directed by Raia Morgan, this film is set to debut before the end of 2026.

You may have seen Lexi on the high seas performing with Disney Cruise Line aboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. Here, she portrayed many of the brand’s famous characters, including but not limited to Cruella de Vil, Ariel, Anastasia, and Elsa. While on board, she was trusted to understudy the Broadway Guest Artist, including going on for Mother Gothel in TANGLED: THE MUSICAL.

She graduated from Elon University’s School of Music Theatre with a BFA in Music Theatre in 2017. Roles at Elon include Jo March in LITTLE WOMEN (directed and choreographed by Linda Sabo) and Katherine McGowan in TITANIC (directed by Catherine McNeela and choreographed by Linda Sabo).

In the fall of 2017, she performed as Josette in FROM HERE TO ETERNITY at Ogunquit Playhouse (directed and choreographed by Brett Smock). This was the second North American premiere of the production. She was able to work with the creators, consisting of Tim Rice (lyrics), Donald Rice (book), and Stuart Brayson (music).

In the summer of 2014, she made her professional debut at McLeod Summer Playhouse, where she performed as Laurey Williams in OKLAHOMA!. Other roles include Rizzo in GREASE, Lorraine Sheldon in THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER, and Babette in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Lexi is excited for the next chapter of her professional career, hungry for bold stories to tell, and hopes the journey will bring her to a stage or screen near you!
